Everything is AWESOME!
Every kid needs a LEGO party as awesome as this one!!! It was fun to plan and I love the bright colors!! It's always hard to pick a perfect theme for a boy that isn't overly cheesy and thankfully I knew Krista could come to my rescue! She has helped me name my children and pick themes for their parties. What more could you want from a BFF???
I scoured Pinterest for ideas and came up with a few of my own as well. The party was pretty awesome :)
This was the dessert table, which is always my favorite part!! The colorful streamers added so much. I got the table cloth online, as well as the plates, napkins, stickers and popcorn containers.
The cupcakes were so fun!! Yes, I am that crazy mom that stayed up really late making tiny little Legos to put each cupcake. I cut out all those little dots one at a time!!! Thank goodness my mom helped me or I would have been up all night! They turned out so cute!!
I even found these colorful letter candles at Walmart to top off his cupcake :)
These gummie candies were also made especially for our birthday boy. We had to make each flavor and let them freeze one batch at a time since I only had one mold. (Bought on Amazon). They were such a hit at the party so they were worth the effort!! (I got the recipe on Pinterest)
The goodie bags were filled with popcorn, colorful M&M candies, and those Lego candies from the candy store. They had a little tag that said 'Thanks for making my party AWESOME!'. Each kid got a bag and a bubble wand in their favorite color.
I was so happy to find the napkins and plates online to match the party. I also love the fork holder my mother in law made out of Legos!!
Fun banner plus all the streamers found at Walmart!!
My mother in law also made this '5' stand and the hanging sign for the party!! I love fresh flowers so these tulips were the perfect choice :)
The signs were all my idea and I thought they were so fun!! I had one for everything! Chips are AWESOME!
Drinks are AWESOME!!
Popcorn is AWESOME!
Pizza is AWESOME!! I of course decided to make Krista's New Years Eve Stromboli's for the party. They were a HIT!!! And the Lego pepperoni one was for the kids :)
We played a few games and the Lego relay was a huge hit!
We also hid a bunch of Lego men around the house and the kids had to find them. This party was so much fun and the kids had a great time. I can't believe my little boy is 5!!
