PIWTP
I think I am going to start a new series called PIWTP: People I want to punch. You are probably laughing right now because you know you could put together a quick list of people you want to punch. Would the world be any better if we just told these people how we feel about them?? We don't really have to punch them, but man would it feel good sometimes.
For instance, Kate came home from school the other day and said there was a kid in her class that announced that there was no Easter Bunny and no Santa Clause. I want to punch that kid in the face. And I want to punch his mother too. The number one rule about being a parent is to make sure that your kid doesn't do something shitty like that. I was pretty upset. Let's just hope I don't run into him in the hall at school some day.
Another instance was when I was at Starbucks having a floral meeting. I chose to meet my bride at a coffee shop because hey, that is where you would go to have a quit meeting, right?!?!? I have always done my meetings there. Well, there was a group of 4 grown adults (35+ years old) all in their business clothes drinking their coffee. About 10 minutes into my meeting I literally was going crazy because they were being so loud and so obnoxious I couldn't even hear the person sitting across the table from me. It was awful! I was so upset and couldn't believe that people could be so rude. There are bars for meet ups and you can be as loud as you want. Why on earth would they choose a quiet coffee shop to laugh and joke and be as loud as possible. I seriously have never heard people laughing so loud in my life. I could have walked over and punched them all in the face. Ugh!
Anyone you would like to add to this list???
