Salami Pesto Bruschetta
One of my favorite places to go with my friends for girl’s night is a wine bar. Not only do they have delicious wine, they have yummy cheese plates and bruschetta boards. One of my favorite types of bruschetta is a pretty simple one to make. It is a salami pesto bruschetta. Doesn’t that sound good?
Now, pesto does not stay fresh very long so if I am going to make this, I generally plan another meal that uses pesto. You need very little for this so try my turkey pesto panini or several other pesto recipes I have during the same week! Another thing you can do is one of my easy and efficient suggestions of freezing it into ice cubes. Once frozen in ice cubes, store in freezer zippy baggies.
Pesto (store bought or homemade)
Salami
Crostini (baguette slice, brushed with olive oil, broiled until slightly browned)
Spread pesto on crostini. Lay sliced salami on. Enjoy!
